The leadership team at The Vine is a strong group of committed individuals who love God, and serve the Lord by using their talents to minister to His people.

Mike DeLong: Teacher/Singer

Mike has been with The Vine since its inception. Initially, Mike was the Minister to Students and the worship leader; currently he is the lead Minister. Mike is the primary teacher on Sunday mornings and occasionally leads the worship band. He provides leadership and guidance with the Board of Directors and oversees the daily operations of the church. In addition to Mike’s pastoral duties within the church, he also offers counseling throughout the week at his home office.  Mike has three beautiful children: Ethan, Zoe and Deacon.  

Tammie Combs: Family Life Minister

In February 2010 Tammie and her family joined The Vine! After the 1st Sunday, Brent and Tammie knew the Vine is a special place for worship and to serve God. And now, Tammie received the privilege of serving as The Vine's Family Life Minister! Tammie's background includes being a music teacher for over 13 years. Both Tammie and Brent passionately spent their lives serving kids as youth workers, sponsors and worship leaders to the youth of the church and their families for many years. Their family includes 2 incredible boys, Elijah and Nathanael, and one big,beautiful dog named Bella!

Tammie's ministry involves all children from birth to high school. Her ministry provides activities, teaching and outreach for the kids to grow spiritually and personally. She oversees the teachings during worship on Sundays, as well as planning weekly/monthly activities for all the students. Tammie serves the families of The Vine's kids helping them to become a part of The Vine family and find their place in ministry.

Arcena Thomas: Administrative Director

Arcena has been serving as Secretary at The Vine since July of 2005 and attending since 1999. She is a graduate of Osceola High School and The University of Central Florida, but ironically is a die-hard Gator football fan. In addition to her duties as Secretary, Arcena serves on the Fellowship Committee and as official “unofficial” church babysitter. Arcena is married to Bret who is also very involved at The Vine, serving in the band, with graphic design, and wherever else extra hands are needed. They have no children yet, just a very spoiled puppy named Sydney.
