Current Needs
Be a teacher or helper during children/youth church. No experience is necessary, just a heart for children/youth. All lessons and materials are prepared for you, and training is provided.
Be a greeter for Promise Land. We are looking for friendly, outgoing individuals who are able to arrive 20 mins before service and greet parents with children. The greeters responsibilities will include recognizing visitors with children and assisting them back to Promise Land. Once worship begins the greeters duties are complete and they may join the service.
Historian: We are looking for someone with a good camera and a love for photography to serve as Historian. The person will document church events and upload the photos for viewing, if unable to photograph events we ask that they have a few volunteers on hand to help out.
Tech Team Members
Purpose: To serve God with your talents; to assist The Vine during worship services and church events
Primary Areas of Service:
- Sound Board: help the band, singers and speakers sound great; record events for later broadcast as MP3
- iMac: use ProPresenter to display the correct lyric and sermon slides as needed throughout a service or event
- Light Board: provide proper lighting to the stage and speakers; manage ambient lighting of congregation area
Requirements:
- A heart for service
- A willingness to learn
- A desire to create an environment where God’s people can worship and learn
- Previous experience helpful but not necessary
- Commitment to serve 1-2 Sundays per month
