Osceola Christian Mission
Osceola Christian Ministry Center provides help to the homeless and underemployed so that they can gain hope and rise above their current situations. They do this by providing a caring place where people can get clothing, showers, meals, groceries and health care. The prevalence of people with basic needs is shown by the fact that over 2,000 individuals came to the Center for help last year (2007).
Nourishing food, clean clothes, proper hygiene and access to health care are some of the non-negotiables in American life. Unfortunately, many people in our community are trying to live life without these basic necessities. Osceola Christian Ministry Center is the only place in Osceola County where people can come and access all of theses services.
Volunteers from many churches in Osceola County make all this possible, that is where our church body comes in. We play a small but integral part in making this all happen by serving one day a month at the mission. Please help by volunteering your time or helping the church defer the cost of the food by making a donation with "Mission" written on your envelope.
